After launching a program, you receive a error message, "Terminal Server detected, licenses not validated." This error message typically results from three scenarios:

Before modifying settings on your server, please consult your firm's qualified IT professional.

You intend to run the CS application in a terminal server environment but are not properly licensed. 

In this scenario, you must purchase a terminal server license for the CS application to run in Terminal Services or Remote Desktop Services. Please contact your CS Sales representative if you require a terminal server license.

You have purchased Terminal Server licenses, but have not yet downloaded new license files. 

When licenses are upgraded after the program is already installed, a new copy of the licenses must be downloaded in the wake of the upgrade. But, when moving to a Terminal Server configuration, the program will most likely need to be reinstalled observing procedures specific to Terminal Servers to allow for proper operation. Review the following articles regarding Terminal Server installations to avoid further issues with upgrading to a Terminal Server configuration:

You do not use Terminal Services or intend to run the CS application in a terminal server environment.

There are two possiblities that would cause this situation:

1. On your server, you may have Terminal Services or Remote Desktop Services enabled but are not using those features.
