How to repair or reinstall

If you need to repair or reinstall .NET or C++, follow these steps. Note that you can't uninstall or repair .NET framework in Windows 10.

  1. Browse to the drive or network location where your CS Professional Suite application is installed.
  2. Open the WinCSI folder, if you have one.
  3. Open the folder for the application you're having trouble with. The folder names match the application names.
  4. Open the Desktop folder.
  5. For .NET:
    1. Open either the MSI or dotnetfx folder.
    2. Open either the dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64.exe or NDP461-KB3102436-x86-x64-AllOS-ENU.exe file.
    3. If you get the message "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?" click Yes.
    4. Choose either Repair or Uninstall.
  6. For C++:
    1. Open either the MSI\VC[[C++ version]]SP1 or the vcredist_x86 folder.
    2. Open either the vcredist_x86.exe or vc_red.msi file.
    3. If you get the message "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?" click Yes.
    4. Choose either Repair or Uninstall.
  7. To install .NET or C++ again, repeat steps 1-6 and choose Install instead of Repair / Uninstall.

Infragistics

Infragistics is a third-party software company that develops user interface (UI) controls for the .NET environment including drop-down menus, sub-schedules, etc. Infragistics is part of the desktop setup and requires a proper installation of .NET Framework to function correctly.

If you are experiencing issues with drop-down menus, sub-schedules, or other UI functions, you may need to uninstall and reinstall Infragistics.
