General
- We have added the Is Cleared column to the Deposits & Additions tab and the Checks & Payments tab of the Edit > Options dialog in the Actions > Reconcile Bank Accounts screen.
- We have addressed an issue that prevented Accounting CS from adding vendor direct deposit allocations to unprinted vendor checks that were created from scheduled check templates.
General - Payroll
- We have updated several fields to use black font color for payroll checks in the Actions > Enter Transactions screen. (Accounting CS Ideas Community #2156 and #2669)
- South Carolina. We have added a Solvency surcharge rate field to the UI Base Rate dialog (accessed from the Payroll Taxes tab of the Setup > Clients screen). Details
- Washington. We have updated the workers’ compensation codes that are available for selection for the State of Washington.
Report Designer
- We have added sections of variables to the Client > Payroll Tax Forms section of the variable tree. Details
- We have added variables to the Client > State Tax Information > Withholding section of the variable tree. Details
Accounting CS Payroll, for live payroll processing
In addition to the changes made for general payroll features listed above for after-the-fact payroll processing, the following changes have been made for the live payroll processing features specific to Accounting CS Payroll.
- We have added the Is Cleared column to the Deposits & Additions tab and the Checks & Payments tab of the Edit > Options dialog in the Actions > Reconcile Impound Bank Accounts screen.
- We have made a number of enhancements to the integration with WorkforceHUB. Details

Payroll compliance
- You can now create a partial replacement file for Form 1095-C. For more information, see Creating replacement files for Form 1094-C and 1095-C.
- Indiana
- The Indiana Department of Workforce Development now requires all employers to file Form UC-1 electronically and will no longer accept paper copies of the form. Therefore, we have removed the Paper filing method for the form and added the Web fill-in method. You can also file the forms using the Internet filing method.
- We have added the SOC code field to the Payroll Taxes tab of the Setup > Employees screen (for Indiana only). Details
- Tennessee. The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development now requires all employers to file Forms LB-0456 and LB-0851 electronically and will no longer accept paper copies of the forms. Therefore, we have removed the Paper filing method for the forms and added the Web fill-in method. You can also file the forms using the Internet filing method.
- Vermont. We have updated the Healthcare Contribution rate used for Form WHT-436. Details

- The Payroll Form and Filing Information portlet provides information on federal, state, and certain local tax agents in the Home Dashboard or Firm Dashboard.
- The State-specific payroll tax form information article provides information on state payroll tax forms, processing tips, due dates, filing methods, agency information, tax payment details, state ID formats, e-filing notes, new hire reporting requirements, and more.
