General - Payroll
- New Hampshire. The New Hampshire Employment Security has increased the Administrative Contribution (AC) rate to 0.4%, effective January 1, 2020. Accordingly, the rate defaults to 0.4% in the Unemployment Rate dialog (accessed via the Payroll Taxes tab of the Setup > Clients screen) for new client records and when new unemployment rate records are added to existing clients.
- Rhode Island. The Rhode Island Division of Taxation has made the following changes.
- They have decreased the Job Development Fund rate to 0.21%, effective January 1, 2020. Accordingly, the rate now defaults to 0.21% in the Unemployment Rate dialog (accessed via the Payroll Taxes tab of the Setup > Clients screen) for new client records and when new unemployment rate records are added to existing clients.
- They have replaced the Quarter-monthly and With payroll withholding deposit schedules with the new Weekly deposit schedule. Therefore, we have removed the Quarter-monthly and With payroll deposit schedules from the State of Rhode Island tax agent and replaced them with the new Weekly deposit schedule. Also, we have updated the deposit schedules for existing clients to accommodate this change.
