You can print documents such as reports, checks, invoices, financial statements, and letters from Accounting CS to Onvio Documents, part of the Thomson Reuters web-based Onvio application. Use the following procedure to set up categories and map documents in those categories to specific folders in Onvio Documents from Accounting CS.

Note: You must be licensed for Onvio to be able to print documents from Accounting CS to Onvio Documents.

  1. Choose Setup > Onvio Documents > Login Information to establish a connection between Accounting CS and Onvio Documents.
  2. Choose Setup > Onvio Documents > Folder Mapping to open the Onvio Documents Folder Mapping dialog.
  3. Based on the type of documents that you are sending to Onvio Documents, you can optionally mark the checkbox in the Display Mapping Dialog at Print column that corresponds to the appropriate Document Category in each row.

Note: If you mark the checkbox for a given document category, the Onvio Documents Folder Mapping dialog will be displayed at the time of printing to Onvio Documents.

  4. Select the appropriate folder name value in the Folder 1 Name column for the first level folder (e.g., Accounting, Payroll, and so forth).

Note: If you choose Custom from the drop-down list, you can enter a folder name in the Custom Folder 1 Name column.

  5. Select the appropriate folder name value in the Folder 2 Name column for the second level folder (e.g., Document date, Current year end date, and so forth).

Note: If you choose Custom from the drop-down list, you can enter a folder name in the Custom Folder 2 Name column.

  6. Click OK to apply your changes and close the Onvio Documents Folder Mapping dialog.

Notes

  • If a client record does not already exist in Onvio Documents, one is created automatically when you print client-based documents from Accounting CS.
  • The folder mappings for Onvio Documents that you define in Accounting CS apply to all staff and clients.
