Change to CS Support service hours

Our Support department is closed on Friday, April 28th for a company event. However, limited Accounting CS phone support is available on that date from 9 AM - 5 PM ET due to the approaching deadline for quarterly payroll tax forms.

For a local or network installation only

The default communication settings for CS Connect are correct for most connection types; however, users who connect to our network of secure data centers using a dial-up internet service provider or a proxy server should review the following communication settings. This is a one-time setup procedure.

Each user must perform the following one-time setup procedure to begin using CS Connect.

  1. Start Accounting CS.
  2. Open CS Connect by choosing File > CS Connect.
  3. Click the Connect Setup button.
  4. Use the CS Connect - Communications Setup dialog to manage the various communication settings for your computer so that you may connect to our network of secure data centers.

    Note: For information about specific fields and options in this dialog, press F1 to view the CS Connect - Communications Setup dialog overview. For additional information, see Setting up CS Connect for use with a direct (LAN) connection and Setting up CS Connect for use with a proxy server.

  5. Test your connection. If any of the tests fail, the connectivity problems must be addressed on your computer, network, or with your internet Service Provider (ISP) before CS Connect will function correctly.
