The Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation (DLLR) accepts ACH Credit payments of unemployment taxes.
How to apply
The Maryland DDLR requires employers paying via Electronic Funds Transmission (EFT) to submit an authorization agreement form to the Contributions Division of Maryland's Office of Unemployment prior to submitting tax payment files.

EFT filers are still required to submit quarterly returns (Form DLLR DUI15).

The Comptroller of Maryland accepts EFT Credit and EFT Debit payments of withholding taxes.
Payments of $10,000.00 or more are required to be paid via Electronic Fund Transmission (EFT).
Payments less than $10,000.00 can be made via EFT voluntarily.

The Comptroller of Maryland requires all EFT users to apply for approval before submitting tax payment files.

ACH Debit payments can only be paid over the phone using Maryland's 800 number.
You do not need to file Form MW506 if you are paying via EFT.
