Use the following instructions to adjust the width of the column or the height of a row in the Report Designer.
Changing the column width
To set the column to a specific width, click the column header and choose Format > Column > Width (or right-click the column header and choose Column Width from the context menu). Specify the width of the column and click OK.
To manually adjust the column width, hover the mouse pointer on the border between columns; when the cursor changes to a double-sided arrow, click and drag the column border to the desired position.
Changing the row height
To set the row to a specific height, click the row header and choose Format > Row > Height (or right-click the row header and choose Row Height from the context menu). Specify the height of the row and click OK.
To manually adjust the row height, hover the mouse pointer between rows and drag it to change the height of the row above when the cursor changes to a vertical double-headed arrow.
Note: A row appears blank in the design grid when the text size in the row is larger than the row height. To resize the row and view the contents in the design grid, click a cell in the affected row to view the contents in the Design Tools frame and then adjust the row height to be larger than the contents of the cells.
