Before you can start using Bank Feeds, the account holder must first grant you permission to access their account information. Use the Bank Feeds - Link Account dialog to request that the account holder link their account to Accounting CS so that you can access their data.
To access the Bank Feeds - Link Account dialog, click the Link Account button in either of the following locations.
- In the Bank Feeds section of the Setup > Bank Accounts > Main tab.
- In the Action column of the grid in the Bank Feeds Overview portlet.
If the account holder has already linked their account, but the information is outdated or needs to be updated for any reason (for example, the password or multi-factor authentication questions need to be updated), use the Bank Feeds - Update Account dialog to request that the account holder update their account information.
The Bank Feeds - Update Account dialog opens automatically when you click the Retrieve Data button in the Bank Feeds portlet and Accounting CS determines that the account information needs to be updated.
After the account holder successfully registers and links their account or updates their account, the application sends a return notification email to let you know that the account is ready for Bank Feeds.
