Use the Tax Exemption Details dialog to specify which jurisdictions or taxes to include in the tax exempt treatment for the payroll item.

Choose Setup > Payroll Items, click the Tax Exemptions tab, and then click the Ellipsis button button next to one of the taxes in the list.

Fields & buttons

Jurisdiction grid. The grid lists all the jurisdictions for which you can exempt the selected tax. Mark the checkbox next to any jurisdictions for which you want to make the selected tax exempt for the payroll item.

Nevada MBT note: Mark the checkboxes for the taxes for which the payroll item should be exempt.
