For licensed users of Accounting CS Workpapers

The Workpaper Properties dialog enables you to view all information pertaining to a specific workpaper and to designate the name and reference for the currently selected workpaper. You can also specify the roll forward treatment for a workpaper, assign the workpaper to a specific staff member, track signoffs, view the status of the current workpaper, and choose to delete the workpaper when the engagement is ready to be finalized.

Right-click a new or existing workpaper in the Engagement Binders Tree portlet in the Workpapers Dashboard and choose Properties to view or update the workpaper information.

Notes

  • You cannot modify the properties for a selected workpaper if it is currently checked out from the engagement binder.
  • You cannot modify the properties of a protected workpaper. Right-click the workpaper and choose Unprotect to make it available for editing. And if the engagement binder has been Finalized, you must first right-click the finalized engagement briefcase in the Engagement Binders Tree portlet, and choose Unfinalize to return the binder back to an active state.
