NetClient CS is the client portal service from CS Web Services. It can greatly increase your ability to provide fast, effective service to your clients while enabling you to run your firm more efficiently.

As both a Client Bookkeeping Solution Master Licensee and a user of NetStaff CS, you can create NetClient CS portals for your clients that are private and secure extensions from your website. In addition, you can now offer your business clients anytime-anywhere access to the Client Bookkeeping Solution application through their own personal, private, and secure portals on your firm's website.

The CBS ASP version uses Application Service Provider technology to enable your portal clients to access the very latest CBS application - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and from any location.

For a reasonable monthly fee, a CBS ASP client is automatically licensed to use all of the Client Bookkeeping Solution client modules: CBS CheckWriter (including Checkbook Reconciliation and noncalculating payroll); CBS PayCheck; CBS Accounts Payable; CBS Accounts Receivable, and CBS Financial Statements.

Note, however, that during the client setup process in Write-Up CS and Accountant's Assistant, you determine which of the specific features and optional modules are most appropriate for the client's needs and, thus, which areas within the CBS ASP application the client will actually be able to see and to use.

To prevent asynchronous updates of client data, the CBS and Accountant's Assistant applications allow a client to process data either using the desktop version or using the ASP version of CBS, but not both. If you decide that an existing CBS client would benefit by changing from the desktop version to the ASP version of CBS (or vice versa), you need to obtain a new CBS license for that client and then generate a new set of transfer files (with license files selected) for the client to import into CBS.
