Licenses for Payroll CS, Trial Balance CS, and Write-Up CS (but not Engagement CS) permanently expired on March 1, 2017. CSA will not include 2017 tax rates or payroll forms, so, for 2017 and beyond, you will need to process payroll in another application. We recommend Accounting CS Payroll and myPay Solutions. For more information, see the following topics.

When you are closing the GL period and have selected the period end dates for the next year, the Budget Options dialog opens automatically.

  1. In the Budget Options dialog, specify how you wish to handle budgets in the year to which you are advancing.
    • Select Use future-year budgetary amounts for the new year to use the future-year budget amounts specified in the Chart of Accounts.
    • Select Save budgetary amounts from the current year to be used in the new year to use current budget amounts for the next year also.
    • Select Zero out the budgetary amounts from the year to delete the budget amounts entirely.
  2. Click the Continue button to continue with the year-end close.
