Testing your connection helps you to determine whether the Internet or modem connection and the current communication settings will enable your computer to communicate properly with the servers at our network of secure data centers. Follow these steps to test your connection.

  1. Verify that your computer is connected to the Internet by opening a browser and accessing any website. If you receive a message asking if you want to connect, choose Yes.
  2. Start CSA and then choose File > CS Connect.
  3. Click the Communications Setup button.
  4. Click the Test Connection button.

The Online Status dialog lists each test as it is performed and notes whether the test passed or failed. Any failure message is followed by a description of why the test failed. All tests must pass for your connection to operate correctly. For more information, see Troubleshooting connection issues.
