Licenses for Payroll CS, Trial Balance CS, and Write-Up CS (but not Engagement CS) permanently expired on March 1, 2017.

Some processes documented in the Help & How-To Center are no longer applicable, due to the discontinuation of these CSA modules.

You can copy your most recent product licenses for the CS Professional Suite Accounting Products software to a disk, memory stick, or a different location on your hard drive. You can use these backed up files to install CSA software at a different location. To create a license disk, use the following procedure.

  1. Choose Help > Repair.

    Note: Depending on your security configuration, you may be prompted to enter the master password before you can open the Repair dialog.

  2. Click the License Disk tab.
  3. Click the browse button next to the Destination Location field to navigate to the location where you want to create your CSA license disk and then click the Create License Disk button.

    Note: To verify that the destination location contains enough free disk space to accommodate the license files, click the Refresh button after you select the location and compare the amount of disk space available to the amount of disk space needed. If you run out of space while creating the license disk and need to use a different location, insert the new disk and click the Refresh button.

  4. Click Done.
