Important reminder!

Licenses for Payroll CS, Trial Balance CS, and Write-Up CS (but not Engagement CS) permanently expired on March 1, 2017. CSA will not include 2017 tax rates or payroll forms, so, for 2017 and beyond, you will need to process payroll in another application. We recommend Accounting CS Payroll and myPay Solutions. For more information, see the following topics.

To install trial licenses

  1. From the CSA main window, choose Help > About CSA.
  2. In the About Creative Solutions Accounting dialog, click the Trial Licenses button.
  3. In the Trial Licenses dialog, mark the checkbox for one or more modules. Note that a checkbox is grayed if you already have a paid license for that module.
  4. Click the Done button. The program will close briefly and then re-open so that you may evaluate the software.

To remove a trial version of any CSA application

Complete steps 1 and 2 above, clear the checkbox for the trial version you want to delete, and then click Done.

To download and install full licenses for CSA application that you have purchased

  1. In the Help > About CSA dialog, click the Download Licenses button.
  2. When prompted, enter your firm ID and ZIP code and then click Next.
  3. In the CS Connect dialog, click the Call Now button.
