Editing the header and footer in a client document

  1. In the Transmittal Letter Editor, choose View > Header or View > Footer. The header or footer variable automatically appears in the transmittal letter.

    Note: You may select different header and footer options in the File > Properties dialog. You may also set up new text variables in the Setup > System Configuration > Text Variables dialog.

  2. When you have completed your changes, click the Done button in the Transmittal Letter Editor to close the document, and (if prompted) click the Yes button to save any changes that you have made. When you choose View > Header or Footer in any subsequent transmittal letter, the new header or footer will appear until you change it again.
