To open the Transmittal Letter Editor, choose Transmittal Letter from the Setup menu, or click the icon on the shortcut bar.
Click any of the following commands from the Edit menu in the Transmittal Letter Editor to view information about that command.
Menu commands
Keyboard: CTRL+Z
Reverses the last action.
Keyboard: CTRL+X
Cuts the highlighted text and places it in the clipboard.
Keyboard: CTRL+C
Copies the highlighted text and places it in the clipboard.
Keyboard: CTRL+V
Pastes the text from the clipboard at the point where the cursor is located.
Opens the Paste Special dialog, which enables you to paste any of the following types of files into your document:
- Microsoft Word documents
- Pictures (Metafiles)
- Rich text (RTF)
- Unformatted text
The following fields are available in the Paste Special dialog.
Paste. Inserts the most recently saved contents of the Windows clipboard into your client document at the present cursor position.
Paste Link. Inserts a link to a Microsoft Word document into your client document.
Display As Icon (checkbox). Available only when Microsoft Word Document is currently highlighted as the file type. Saves the contents of the Windows clipboard as an icon in your client document. When you double-click the icon, the selected item will open in Microsoft Word. Note that you may choose to save the Microsoft Word document as a separate file from the original client document.
Keyboard: F7
To run the spell checking utility, choose Check Spelling from the Edit menu, or press F7.
