Engagement CS integrates with Microsoft Excel to allow you to edit and create workpapers and link CSA trial balance information within Excel workpapers from within the Engagement CS workspace, or when Excel is launched separately from Engagement CS.

When you open Excel from within Engagement CS, you can take advantage of the Engagement CS pull-down menu and variable toolbar. With Engagement CS you can combine Excel's formatting and calculation features while simultaneously linking to CSA client data. See Opening an Excel workpaper.

Note: Integration with Excel is a one-way link from the CSA client database to Excel. The Excel workpaper refreshes automatically when it is first opened in Engagement CS. Subsequent updates made to the client's database in CSA are reflected in the workpaper when you click the Recalculate /_images/acct_pr/csa/btn-recalculate.gif button from the Engagement CS toolbar or pull-down menu in Excel.
