To open a Word document in Engagement CS, double-click the document in the Tree View Window (or choose Open from the right-click context menu).

The following error may occur during this process if you are running certain Norton antivirus applications:

Error 78 Failed to create document for Word file.

As a result, the document displays as blank in the Document View window of the engagement workspace. When you close the document, you are prompted to save the changes. However, if you choose Open with Word from the right-click context menu in the Tree View window, the document launches in Word with no errors.

This issue is caused by certain antivirus application settings in your environment and can be addressed by checking the following settings:
