The Unsigned Program Steps Report is a diagnostic report that checks PPC's Checkpoint Tools audit programs for unsigned audit steps. Engagement CS searches all Checkpoint Tools audit programs within the current engagement and provides a list of all steps that have yet to be signed off.

Notes Diagnostic Report

The Notes Diagnostic Report provides information on the status of selected review notes. The report lists the notes for the current engagement and all folders and workpapers within the current engagement. Staff members can filter the notes to display only those notes they want to review. The report can also be filtered by selected folders/workpapers, originator of the note, workpapers assigned to a specific staff, or current status of the note.

Workflow in the field

Note: Staff members working in the field must have a workstation version of the Engagement CS application installed on their machines (laptop or PC) to Receive transfer files from the Master Client Data (MCD)

Engagement CS provides an efficient work cycle that flows from the Master Client Data (MCD) to the Local Client Data (LCD), between staff in the field, and then back to the MCD. Some of the following tasks that staff member(s) working in the field are responsible for are:

  • Receiving transfer files from the MCD.
  • Completing engagement work that is assigned, including signing off on all workpapers and documents, providing notes to the reviewer.
  • Reassigning workpapers in the field and sending updated engagement data to other staff in the field via a transfer file.
  • Synchronizing engagement files when necessary.
  • Providing a transfer file for receipt by the staff in charge of the MCD.
