The Account Hash Total (which is displayed in a pane of the status bar when the Transactions window is active) is the running total of all the GL accounts you have entered during the current data-entry session.
When you select the Clear Hash Total command from the Edit menu or from the right-click context menu, the application resets the Account Hash Total to 0.00.
Note: The Hash total is automatically reset to 0.00 when you close the Transactions window.
