Take the following steps during a first time export to avoid issues related to running the CS QuickBooks Data Utility with QuickBooks 2007 and higher on Windows Vista or higher operating systems.

1. Close your QuickBooks company file in QuickBooks before selecting your QuickBooks company from the Location and Name of QB Company file field.
2. Select your QuickBooks company file in the Location and Name of QB Company file field.
3. Open your QuickBooks company in QuickBooks.
4. Continue with the export process.
