Important reminder!

Licenses for Payroll CS, Trial Balance CS, and Write-Up CS (but not Engagement CS) permanently expired on March 1, 2017. CSA will not include 2017 tax rates or payroll forms, so, for 2017 and beyond, you will need to process payroll in another application. We recommend Accounting CS Payroll and myPay Solutions. For more information, see the following topics.

The Delaware Payroll Tax module supports the following forms:

Choose Utilities > Payroll Tax Processing and then either click the DE state flag icon on the shortcut bar or choose View > Delaware. Click the appropriate tab to access the desired form. (Delaware must be selected in the Payroll tab of the Client Properties dialog in order for the DE flag to appear on the shortcut bar.)

Notes

  • Payroll tax processing data is kept in separate files, so any changes made to the retrieved data will not carry back to your payroll data.
  • If you run Form W1 on an 8th Monthly basis, you must retrieve for a Quarter and a Month and also pick an 8th Monthly period end date in the Supplemental Information dialog Withholding tab. If you later want to run the form monthly or quarterly instead, be sure to delete the 8th Monthly period end date from this tab before processing, otherwise the information will not flow to Form W1.

Special information

For each state that you will be processing for a client, you must first enter the two-character state postal code in the Payroll tab of the File > Client Properties dialog.

To have the application calculate SUTA amounts and the SUTA Worksheet report, the state field must be completed for the applicable state(s) for each employee in the Other tab of the Setup > Employees window.
