Important reminder!

Product support for Engagement CS is ending on September 30, 2020. See Engagement CS license expiration 2020 - frequently asked questions for more information.

Licenses for Payroll CS, Trial Balance CS, and Write-Up CS permanently expired on March 1, 2017.

Some processes documented in the Help & How-To Center are no longer applicable, due to the discontinuation of Creative Solutions Accounting.

The Georgia Payroll Tax module supports the following forms as well as SUTA and G-7 file creation:

Choose Utilities > Payroll Tax Processing, and then either click the GA state flag icon on the shortcut bar or choose View > Georgia. Click the applicable form tab. (Georgia must be selected in the Payroll tab of the Client Properties dialog in order for the GA flag to appear on the shortcut bar.)

  • Payroll tax processing data is kept in separate files, so any changes made to the retrieved data will not carry back to your payroll data.
  • We support only third party/bulk e-filing for withholding. If you need to register as a third party or bulk filer, visit for further information.
  • When withholding files are created, they are automatically encrypted for security and stored in the \CSASYS\MAGMEDIA\year \Q# folder (where # represents the filing quarter). Before submitting these files to the appropriate agency, you must use the Save to Submittable Format command, at which point the files are decrypted. Using the Restore from Submittable Format option encrypts the files once again. You can use the preview function to view the decrypted files.
  • When you save your withholding files to Submittable Format, the application creates a zip file containing an ASCII-1 file per Georgia Department of Labor specifications. This file includes both the tax and wage records for all clients processed for Georgia and submitted via withholding file. Withholding files processed by CSA versions prior to 2006.1.0 will not be available and will not be recognized by the file utilities.
