Licenses for Payroll CS, Trial Balance CS, and Write-Up CS (but not Engagement CS) permanently expired on March 1, 2017.

The fields in the Benefit Accrual Information section in the Employees > Pay Item Properties > Pay Info tab are enabled only if the special type for the selected pay item is Accruable Benefit.

Anniversary. The benefit accrues when the period is advanced to the month following that in which the employee's anniversary date falls.

Per Calendar Year. The benefit accrues immediately after closing the year.

Per Hours Worked. The benefit accrues after posting the paycheck where the Hours field is utilized.

Per Month. The benefit accrues when the period is advanced to the new month and will be available even if no check has yet been issued.

Per Paycheck. The benefit accrues each time a paycheck is processed, which in turn updates the employee earnings record.
