You can use the Hash Total pane in the status bar to verify data entry accuracy during "heads-down" payroll entry.

The application automatically calculates the Hash Total by summing each employee ID that you enter while doing batch data entry in the Payroll Check Entry window. You can use this number to verify that all required employees were included during data entry. The application will only recognize numeric employee IDs.

The running Hash Total will display in a pane in the status bar at the bottom of the window, to the right of the calculation profile pane. (The amount will reset automatically to zero when the Payroll Check entry window is closed.)
