Important reminder!

Licenses for Payroll CS, Trial Balance CS, and Write-Up CS (but not Engagement CS) permanently expired on March 1, 2017.

For details, see CSA license expiration 2017 – frequently asked questions.

Some processes documented in the Help & How-To Center are no longer applicable, due to the discontinuation of these CSA modules.

  1. Click the Other tab of the Employees window.

Note: If you have assigned a template, the default information from that template will appear on the Other tab when the new employee is created, but may be modified as necessary for the selected employee.

  2. If the employee is active in multiple departments, add or edit the information on this tabbed page for one department at a time. Select a different department from the Department drop-down list.
  3. Complete the appropriate information in the following fields:
    • Standard hours and multipliers
    • FICA and FUTA GL accounts
    • SUTA GL accounts
    • Data entry reminder
  4. In the Data entry reminder field, enter any applicable reminders, up to 30 characters.
  5. Click the Enter button to save the information.

To have the application calculate SUTA amounts and the SUTA Worksheet report, you must complete the state field for the applicable state(s) for each employee. The drop-down list for the state field includes only the states that have already been selected for this client in the Payroll tab of File > Client Properties dialog.
