Licenses for Payroll CS, Trial Balance CS, and Write-Up CS (but not Engagement CS) permanently expired on March 1, 2017. CSA will not include 2017 tax rates or payroll forms, so, for 2017 and beyond, you will need to process payroll in another application. We recommend Accounting CS Payroll and myPay Solutions. For more information, see the following topics.

  1. From the employee list of the Setup > Employees window, select the name of the employee to be renumbered.
  2. Right-click outside of any data fields in the Employees window and choose Renumber Employee from the context menu, or choose Edit > Renumber Employee.
  3. When the Renumber Employee dialog displays, do one of the following:
    • To renumber an individual employee, double-click on the employee's name in the available list on the left to move it to the selected list on the right, then enter an unused beginning number in the Renumber to group box.
    • To renumber all employees, click the Select all button to move all employees' names from the available list on the left to the selected list on the right, then enter a beginning number and an increment by number in the Renumber to group box.
  4. Click the Renumber button to complete the renumbering process.
