Licenses for Payroll CS, Trial Balance CS, and Write-Up CS (but not Engagement CS) permanently expired on March 1, 2017. CSA will not include 2017 tax rates or payroll forms, so, for 2017 and beyond, you will need to process payroll in another application. We recommend Accounting CS Payroll and myPay Solutions. Use this procedure to schedule status events for payroll clients. CSA will remind you of a scheduled event if that event meets the criteria designated in the Tickler Parameters dialog (choose Utilities > Client Status, click the Today's Ticklers tab, and then click the Reset Tickler Parameters button).

Note: There must be at least one global status event set up in the Setup > System Configuration > Status Events dialog in order to schedule a client status event.

  1. With the selected client open, choose Utilities > Client Status.
  2. In the Client Status dialog, click the Schedule Event tab.
  3. On the Schedule Event tab, mark the Schedule events checkbox. When this checkbox is marked, you can choose which event to schedule for the current client by marking its checkbox. You can use the fields in the Schedule Event grid to override global values assigned to events.
  4. Click the Done button to close the Client Status dialog.

Note: The Schedule events checkbox is marked by default for all new clients.
