Updating an employee pay rate

The Employee Pay Rate Changes dialog allows you to quickly update to a new federal or state wage rate for employees that are currently below the new minimum wage rate. To change the pay rate for all or selected employees, follow these steps.
  1. From the CSA main window, choose Setup > Employees.
  2. From the Employees window, choose Employee Pay Rate Changes from the F3 or right-click context menu.
  3. Enter the range of rates to be changed using the From rate and To rate fields.
  4. In the Change rates to: To rate field, enter the new rate that you want to apply to the employee(s).
  5. To exclude any wage types specified as Tipped Wages from the update, mark the Exclude rates for "Tipped Wages" checkbox.
  6. Click the Select Employees button.
  7. Use the Employee Selection dialog to choose the employees for whom you wish to apply the selected rate changes, and then click OK to save your selection.
  8. In the Employee Pay Rate Changes dialog, click OK to make the specified pay rate changes for the employees.
