Important reminder!

Licenses for Payroll CS, Trial Balance CS, and Write-Up CS (but not Engagement CS) permanently expired on March 1, 2017.

For details, see CSA license expiration 2017 – frequently asked questions.

Some processes documented in the Help & How-To Center are no longer applicable, due to the discontinuation of these CSA modules.

The MICR check feature is an integral part of your Payroll CS application. For licensed users of the Accountant's Assistant module, it is also available with the Vendor Checkwriting feature.

Enter the necessary information in the MICR tab of the Checkbook Setup dialog and customize one or more check layouts to include the MICR line information. Using the hardware described below, you may then print MICR-encoded checks on blank (rather than preprinted) check stock.

Note: A variety of check styles compatible with CSA check layouts are available from the Forms CS website.
