Important reminder!

Licenses for Payroll CS, Trial Balance CS, and Write-Up CS (but not Engagement CS) permanently expired on March 1, 2017.

For details, see CSA license expiration 2017 – frequently asked questions.

Some processes documented in the Help & How-To Center are no longer applicable, due to the discontinuation of these CSA modules.

The overall objective of the ATB to Creative Solutions Accounting (CSA) conversion utility is to provide a comprehensive conversion of your client data from ATB Write-Up to the Write-Up CS software in CSA.

After creating or opening the client, choose Utilities > Data Conversion > AICPA > ATB Write-Up.

Special information

Fields & buttons

Enter the path to the ATB client data that you want to convert to CSA, or click the Browse button to search for the correct data folder.

Example for conversion from ATB Write-Up

If ATB Write-Up is on drive C and you want to convert client 123456, you would type: c:\atbwu\clients\{_123456. Each client is stored in its own subfolder of the ATBWU/CLIENTS folder.

After you have specified the location of the files to convert, choose the client that you would like to convert by selecting it from the drop-down list.

Applicable only for a conversion from ATB Write-Up

Mark this checkbox if you would like to convert employee earnings information for the selected client.

Note: If there are no employee earnings in the ATB Write-Up file, we recommend that you not mark this checkbox. You will then be able to use the Employee Templates feature of the Payroll Compliance module to complete the payroll item structure for the individual employees. This includes the added advantage of having the re-useable employee templates available for use when adding future employees.

Opens the conversion guide (PDF) in the Adobe Reader (or opens a related CSA help topic).
