The staff in charge of the engagement can view the activity that has taken place for the current engagement on the History tab of the Engagement Properties dialog in the Master Client Data (MCD). The descriptions that are displayed in the History pane of the History tab depend on the tasks that have taken place both in the Master Client Data (MCD) and the Local Client Data (LCD) during the life cycle of the engagement.

Choose File > Engagement Properties to open the Engagement properties dialog, and then click the History tab.

A staff member who is accessing the Local Client Data (LCD) can update only signoff information. Those Staff Member(s) who are working in the field can only view tabs in the Engagement Properties dialog. (Depending on the privileges that are assigned to the staff member(s), some tabs may not be available even for viewing.)

Note: The information that is displayed on this tab includes a history of all workpapers in the engagement and is similar to the History dialog that can be opened from the Workpaper Properties dialog for a selected workpaper.
