When a primary data-entry window is active, you may choose the Find command from the Edit menu (or from the right-click context menu to quickly and easily search for a record that includes the characters you specify within the field that you select.
When you click the Find button, CSA begins searching for the first matching record and displays it in the active window. Click the Find button again to continue searching for the next match.
First specify the exact text you want to search for by entering it in the Text to Find field, using either upper or lower-case letters.
Next, choose the type of field you want to search by selecting it from the drop-down list, and then click the Find button.
The program will stop on the first record with text in the specified field that matches the characters you entered in the Text to Find field. To continue the search, click the Find button again.
Note: To find a record based on a specific date within a Date field, enter the date in the Text to Find field (using the MMDDYY format) and choose Date as the field to search.
