Use the Direct Deposit tab of the Impound Checkbook dialog to specify the direct deposit information for the impound checkbook.
From the CSA main window, choose Setup > System Configuration > Impound Checkbook and then click the Direct Deposit tab.

Fields & buttons
Enter the ID of the bank you want to assign to the impound checkbook, or choose it from the drop-down list.
Note: The drop-down list for this field includes bank IDs previously entered in the Payroll CS Direct Deposit module. (To open the Bank Information dialog, choose Direct Deposit from the CSA Utilities menu. Then, from the Setup menu in the Maintain Electronic Transaction Files dialog, choose Bank Information.)
Specify the bank account type by choosing either Checking or Savings from the drop-down list.
Choose one of the following options from the drop-down list:
- Approved
- Prenote/Zero Balance
- Waiting
Note: The program automatically updates this field from Prenote/Zero Balance to Waiting when you write a prenote file, either by printing checks or by using the commands in the Direct Deposit Tasks menu. It updates this field from Waiting to Approved when you select Update Account Status from the Tasks menu in the Payroll CS Direct Deposit module.
