Important reminder!
Licenses for Payroll CS, Trial Balance CS, and Write-Up CS (but not Engagement CS) permanently expired on March 1, 2017. CSA will not include 2017 tax rates or payroll forms, so, for 2017 and beyond, you will need to process payroll in another application. We recommend Accounting CS Payroll and myPay Solutions. For more information, see the following topics.
Use the Scan tab of the New Document dialog to insert a scanned image directly into an engagement as a Word document or PDF, without having to scan the image and save it on the local or network drive before inserting it into the engagement.
Choose File > New > Document and click the Scan tab to set up scanning options.
- Click the Scanner button to open the Select Source dialog and select the scanner to use.
- Click the desired option (to scan a single page, to scan multiple pages into one file, or to scan multiple pages into separate files) and then click the Continue button to open the scanner software dialog.
Note: For specifics about the operation of your scanner, please refer to the user manual.
- Once you have scanned the image, you can assign a document name and workpaper reference in the Document Properties dialog.
- You can scan multiple pages either individually or by using an automatic feed device when you click the Scan multiple pages into a single file option or the Scan multiple pages into separate files option. For details, see Scanning images and inserting them in Engagement CS.
