Licenses for Payroll CS, Trial Balance CS, and Write-Up CS (but not Engagement CS) permanently expired on March 1, 2017. CSA will not include 2017 tax rates or payroll forms, so, for 2017 and beyond, you will need to process payroll in another application. We recommend Accounting CS Payroll and myPay Solutions. For more information, see the following topics.

Use New Engagement - Staff Assignment page of the New Engagement wizard to assign staff to the current engagement.

Choose File > New > Engagement and select one of the following options: Create from an existing engagement, Create from PPC's Checkpoint Tools, or Create a blank engagement. Click the Next button to proceed through the New Engagement wizard until to open the Staff Assignment page.

Note: The drop-down list for the Staff Name field includes staff that have been previously set up as Engagement CS users in the Setup > System Configuration > Administration dialog in CSA.
