The Payroll Period Details dialog allows you to define payroll periods to use instead of a regular monthly processing date. The dates you specify in this dialog are used for status events, certain reports, check printing, and period to process.
Choose File > Client Properties. In the Client Properties dialog, click the Payroll Period Details button on the Calculating Payroll tab.
Fields & buttons
Mark this checkbox to use detailed payroll period dates for the current client. The fields in the Payroll Period Details become active only when this checkbox is marked.
Use the Payroll period details date grid to define the period end date, check date, and the associated month and year to enter into the earnings history.
The details you enter in each column must be in chronological order.
The default payroll frequency for this client is displayed here. This frequency can be modified using the Default frequency field in the Calculating Payroll tab.
Click the Auto-fill button to automatically fill in the Payroll period details date grid based on the displayed frequency.
Note: You must fill out at least the first line of the grid to provide the start-from information before using the Auto-fill button.
Mark this checkbox to display the check date instead of the period end date on any detail reporting and on the status bar, in the bottom right-hand corner of the CSA window.
