The Excel File Location dialog is used to select the appropriate Excel file to import using the Excel Time Entry Import Utilities.
From the Tasks > Payroll Check Entry window, choose Edit > Excel Time Entry Import.
Fields & buttons
Enter the location and name of the file to be imported. You can browse for the file by clicking the Browse button.
Displays a directory list from which to select the drive and folder where the file to be imported is located. Select the file to be imported and then click the Open button.
If this option is marked, the import will determine how many columns to import based on the number of fields in the first row of spreadsheet data. When it reaches the first blank field, it sets the number of columns automatically, improving the speed of the import. This option is particularly useful if you always have column headers in the first row of data.
You have the option to specify how many columns to import by entering a number in this field. This option will generally improve the speed of the import.
