Use the Description and W-2 Info tab of the Pay Items dialog or the Deduction Items dialog to specify both the description of the payroll item that you will see during paycheck data entry and the description that will appear on checks and reports. In addition, use this tab to mark W-2 settings for the selected payroll item. This is required information for W-2 processing.
Choose Setup > System Configuration and then choose Pay Items or Deduction Items.
