Important reminder!

Licenses for Payroll CS, Trial Balance CS, and Write-Up CS (but not Engagement CS) permanently expired on March 1, 2017.

For details, see CSA license expiration 2017 – frequently asked questions.

Some processes documented in the Help & How-To Center are no longer applicable, due to the discontinuation of these CSA modules.

Use this dialog to specify a date range for importing client data from QuickBooks Pro. The dialog displays the previous date range used when importing data from QuickBooks Pro (currently supported versions).

Special information

For a GL client: To enable the ability to record new entries in the Tasks > Transaction Entry window without overwriting existing balances in the Chart of Accounts, mark the Create journal entry with account balances checkbox. This option creates a journal entry transaction and posts transactions during the import process.
(Default = ON)

Note that if this checkbox is not marked and GL transactions are recorded in the current period regardless of the date range selected, existing (imported) account balances are overwritten when you post the new transactions.
