Important reminder!

Licenses for Payroll CS, Trial Balance CS, and Write-Up CS (but not Engagement CS) permanently expired on March 1, 2017.

For details, see CSA license expiration 2017 – frequently asked questions.

Some processes documented in the Help & How-To Center are no longer applicable, due to the discontinuation of these CSA modules.

The Save to Submittable Format dialog copies the EVSREQ2K.* file to the selected drive as EVSREQ2K without the extension (which is the filename format required by the SSA).

The Restore from Submittable Format dialog copies the EVSREQ2K file from submittable format to the /CSASYS/TINTEST folder and saves it with the appropriate .DAT or <userID> filename extension.

From the Employee SSN Verification dialog, choose File > Save to Submittable Format or Restore from Submittable Format, as applicable.

Note: When SSN employee verification files are created, they are automatically encrypted for security and stored in the /CSASYS/TINTEST folder. Before submitting these files to the appropriate agency you must use the Save to Submittable Format command, at which point the files are decrypted. Using the Restore from Submittable Format option will encrypt the files once again. You can use the preview function to view the file decrypted.
