Use the Tax Withholdings & Deductions tab of the Employee Templates dialog to enter default setup information for a selected template.

To create or modify a template, choose Employee Templates from the Setup menu.

Notes

  • Deduction items and tax withholding items are global and, therefore, are available for any client and any employee template. To set up a deduction item or tax withholding item, choose System Configuration from the Setup menu and then choose Deduction Items or Withholding Items.
  • Templates are client specific, not global. For each template, fill in only the fields that you wish to have automatically included in the setup for each new employee record to be based on that template.
