Use the Earnings tab of the Employee Templates dialog to enter default pay item setup information for a selected template.

Templates are client specific, not global. For each template, fill in only the fields that you wish to have automatically included in the setup for each new employee record to be based on that template.

To create or modify a template, choose Employee Templates from the Setup menu.

Special information

To open the Employee > Pay Item Properties dialog, highlight a specific pay item and then click the /_images/acct_pr/csa/details.gif button (or choose Item Properties from the Edit menu).
