Licenses for Payroll CS, Trial Balance CS, and Write-Up CS (but not Engagement CS) permanently expired on March 1, 2017. CSA will not include 2017 tax rates or payroll forms, so, for 2017 and beyond, you will need to process payroll in another application. We recommend Accounting CS Payroll and myPay Solutions. For more information, see the following topics.

The Form Selection tab allows you to select form types and create W-2c files.

Choose Utilities > W-2 Form Processing > Corrected W-2, select the appropriate year, and then click the Form Selection tab.

Correcting W-2 forms

Fields & buttons

Select the type of form you want to print. Also, for each form, specify the number of copies you want to print (if more than one) and select the desired paper type and printer.

From the drop-down list, choose the form type that you are currently correcting.

Choose the sort order you wish to use when printing the corrected forms.

  • Employee ID
  • Employee Name
  • SSN
  • State / Employee Name
  • State / SSN

Select the totals you wish to include in the summary forms by marking the appropriate checkbox(es).

  • Federal totals
  • State and local totals

Note: Prints with Copy D only and will be included in the preview of Copy A if selected.

Select this option if you want to create a W-2c file.
