A number of pre-defined statements are already included with your Write-Up CS and Trial Balance CS applications. You may modify and copy these sample statements and resave them either as global statements or as client statements (unique to the currently selected client).

The Financial Statement Editor is a special window that allows you to do the following:

  • Insert and adjust the placement of headers and footers, notes, and other text.
  • Insert different kinds of data variables.
    • amounts, dates, periods, text, or additional amounts
    • graphics, such as your company logo or other bitmaps
    • conditional expressions
    • formulas
  • Choose from a variety of font settings and alignments for rows, columns, individual cells or selected variables or text.
  • Add special borders or shading.
  • Quickly insert new rows or columns, page breaks, and additional worksheets.
  • Print the selected statement or preview it on screen.

To create a new statement, choose File > New and then choose File > Save As > Client Statement or File > Save As > Global Statement.

Note: The application determines the appropriate storage folder for the statement file based on your choice of either Client Statement or Global Statement.

To open an existing statement so that you may copy or modify it, choose File > Open > Client Statement, or choose File > Open > Global Statement.

To close the Financial Statement Editor and return to the CSA main window, click the Done button on the toolbar.
