Workpaper properties include AdvanceFlow-specific information such as the engagement ID, reference, description, user assignment information, and whether the current workpaper will be included during a roll forward. When you view properties for a selected workpaper, you can also access Signoff information, GoFileRoom index information, and the workpaper's history.

To view or edit properties for a workpaper, follow these steps.

  1. In the Workpapers tab, select the workpaper for which you will view or edit properties.
  2. Click the Properties button in the ribbon.

    Notes

    • You can also right-click the workpaper and choose Properties from the context menu, or click the Properties button in the ribbon of the AdvanceFlow document viewer.
    • If the current workpaper was added from Checkpoint Tools, You can choose Replace from Checkpoint Tools from the Roll Forward drop-down list in the General tab. When you choose this option, the current workpaper will be replaced by a placeholder during the roll-forward process, and the placeholder will then be replaced by the corresponding workpaper in Checkpoint Tools.
    • If the current workpaper was generated using PPC SMART Practice Aids, You can choose Replace from SMART from the Roll Forward drop-down list in the General tab. When you choose this option, the current workpaper will be replaced by a placeholder during the roll-forward process, and the placeholder will then be replaced by the corresponding SMART workpaper.
  3. When you are finished, click OK.
