Deleting a data location

Show expandable text

  1. Choose Setup > System Configuration.
  2. Click the Data Locations tab.
  3. Highlight the data location you want to delete in the list.
  4. Click the Delete button.

Notes

  • If you choose to delete the current data location when more than one data location has been set up, you can choose to set your current data and archive data locations to another that is available from the drop-down lists in the Change Data Location dialog.
  • When you delete a standard format (i.e., flat files and folders created by the application) that is not your current data location, it is only the path that is deleted, not the associated data.
  • To permanently delete the database and all of it's data via the SQL server, we recommend that you consult with your qualified IT professional.
