Scheduled Backup dialog

Show expandable text

Use this dialog to schedule recurring backups for SQL data locations.

To open this dialog, choose File > Backup, choose Database Locations from the drop-down list at the top of the dialog, and then click the Schedule Recurring Backup button.

Notes

  • The recurring backups will create up to 10 file backups. After 10 backups have been created, the process will return to the first backup and begin sequentially overwriting backups as additional backups are created. The file names for the backups will end with [SB0].bak, [SB1].bak...etc
  • Because an SQL database holds all the data for any programs that use it in one database file, it is not possible to restore specific files or clients. You have to restore the whole database file, which includes all files and clients.
